Acting is a temporary thing but living is a continuous thing not ending till death Your lifestyle should be traceable to Christ it should not be that we are forced to do it but we should do it cause it is what our spirit enjoys. If we let the Holy spirit tell us what we always do we will be different special and people will know we are of God Why do you dress is it cause the Holy spirit told you to wear or is it to satisfy people. Reading the scripture Don't just read the scripture let it bring life to you. When you study the Scriptures do it think on what you get from it ? Do you meditate on it ? Well if you don't before now you can start doing it from today cos that's the way to become more like Christ. By the way as you try to become like Christ be careful you don't forget that it's about living God not just to escape hell oo. If you're too conscious of hell you will loose sight of heaven. Show forth your Christian life know who you are Fasting Don't let people be able to sense that you're fasting you must depend on God to fast the right way What is the motive behind your fasting if it is not right your fast will be in vain Reading the scripture Don't just read the scripture let it being life to you. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience Romans 5:3 In this life this principle of glorying in tribulations is widely accepted and proven but just not in bible terms. It is the exact thing that was translated to "no pain no gain", " pain of birth ", " taking pains ", all these secular principles run on the truth that you must go to pains enduring it if you must become better but the full truth of the principle is stated in the above passage by Paul. The whole truth is that us enduring the pain works patience (I.e. makes us better and brings us a reward) As we go about our daily endeavors let us enjoy the rigours because they are pains that will bring about patience in us and make us better in the long run God bless you
