a poem of love

To my love my darling wife  love such a beautiful world how can I begin to even call you my love when I don't even understand the extent of what it means to love But this I know I want to spend my days with you I can't wait to spend my nights with you I can't wait to watch you smile and light up my world I can't wait to sleep beside you and watch you snore innocently like a peaceful lullaby. I know that for you I will lay down my life like Jesus prayed for his church I know that for you I'll go to the ends of the Earth I know that for you I will rise to The heights of the heavens I know that for you I will do all the things that is possible but good things ofcourse. With you by my side our home will be a fortress I haven't for kingdom a place where warriors are grown together we make an army alone we are elite fighters. Make his time come to me my love for there is a lot for us to accomplish together even though I did not fully comprehend what it means to love I...

The Progigal Son Part 2

When I think of the prodigal son the first thing that comes to mind is a boy who did not recognise what he had and decided he wanted the or no the prodigal son looks like a boy who does not value what he had and only learnt value by pain and suffering but are we not all like the prodigal son how often is it that's why we want to know the unknown how often is it that our curiosity is piqued by that which is supposed to be for bidding for that which we are advised to stay away from it is not a very human nature to want to check out that which we do not understand of that which is not clear to us are very nature desires clarity and knowledge of all things the prodigal son like all of us wanted to see what was out there and for that we have parking was a bad son who did not value what he had but funny enough every single great achievements of humankind aberthin on seeking out that which makes us curious we have a dream of something that has not been done and we trying to achieve it tha...

Are we supposed to find love?

Are we supposed to find love? How are we supposed to find love? Does the bible teach us to find love? All my life i have somehow felt that love is something that happens at first sight, you know like in the movies where the guys sees the girl (his soulmate) and he falls in love and they then go on to get to know each other thereby finding more reasons to love each other against all odds and they marry and live happily ever after. Well how true is that!!!!  My generation believes in this fairytale so much yet we have the highest rates of broken relationships ever recorded does this statistics not already make this fairytale a sham. all through history things people believe strongly in usually work to their advantage except they are believing a lie so could it mean we believe a lie of a love story in my generation. Older generations allowed other metrics take precedence over the  rush of love (as i would like to call it) things like background, genetics, passion, beliefs, ...

Running away from God

When we say running away from God, I used to think it meant totally deserting and becoming a total badboy but I have come to realise that what it really meant is hiding away from God by seeking normalcy. The truth is that once we give our life over to Christ we stop living a normal life and sometimes the requirements of our super life can be overwhelming so our natural person kicks in and does the most reasonable thing it can think of which is to get out of that super life ASAP.  This is the actual moment we start running away.  It comes in different ways such as avoiding certain responsibilities, hiding away in fear, hesitating, among many other ways we run away. I pray God will grant us the grace to not run away from him in Jesus name.

Building Trust

Trust is defined as the firm belief in the reliability, truth or ability of someone or something. it is a fundamental requirement in any relationship and it can be grown or lost over time due to the actions and inactions of the parties involved.  In Genesis 12 we see two unique forms of trust; the first was between God and a man and the second was between members of a family and the family head.  Between God and a man:- Abraham the father of faith (who at this time still went by the name Abram) had built such a relationship with God over the course of his life that he now trusted God enough to pull up his whole family and start a journey to a destination he had no idea of. How weird would it sound if a person told you they are going out but then go on to say they don't know where they are going. That was the situation Abram was in, it's like saying you're going to the university but you don't know which university or what course you'd be studying yet you pack you b...

Studying Rightly

Hello guys, 2Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Did you know that for years I have read this chapter and only related it to spiritual things?  I took it to mean that by studying God's word and the life of heroes of faith I do prove my love for God, and I was right.  It's just that this passage meant a lot more than just studying Spiritual stuff, the truth is that it applies to every part of our lives, spiritual, intellectual, academic, marital, psychological, and even physical aspects.  Putting it simply if people see that you have more knowledge or wisdom on all subject matters they respect you and admire you for it and they are already respecting and admiring God your maker indirectly.  They will try to find the source of your unique depth of knowledge, wisdom, charisma or whatever it is they find attractive about you at that point you can easily tell them it's all...

About being conservative

Here are two truths you should always keep in mind: (1) True love waits. (2) True love is worth the wait.  When tempted to go astray by a fast-living friend, a young Christian woman replied, ‘Any time I want to become like you, I can. But I can never again become the person I was before I made that decision.’ This morning I was going through my morning devotional and I came across this write up that rang very true to me, because the truth is as much as people keep encouraging you to try new things, to live life, to have fun and the likes, the reality is that there are some things that once you do you can't go back to being how you were before.  I'm not saying you should not do those things, I'm not saying you should not try out things I am not saying you should not have fun. I'm just saying like the young Christian lady said you can become how they want you to be at anytime, anytime you want!! but you can't go back to being who you used to be once you have done some...
