Godliness with Contentment


Godliness: is Respect, Reverence, Piety towards God, Living a holy life.
Contentment:  is a perfect condition of life in which no aid or support is needed for basic functionality, where the person is able to provide for himself at least all the basic necessities of life, where the person has sufficient for his needs (and possibly wants). In the words of Dan Lok, it’s the state of F U Money. The person is in all human description Self Sufficient not necessarily needing human help to live & survive. The person is self-sufficient and man enough.
Let’s be truthful it sucks when you are so spiritual even the devil knows your name but you need to beg your friends to eat. Your Godliness rapidly becomes a Shameful thing and before long you will definitely abandon the Godliness to find food. God never planned it like that, He as a matter of Truth wishes to see you prosper on both life and Godliness levels.
For many years I actually thought contentment is simply accepting whatever comes your way as your fate but today I realized it is not always so. To be Truly content you must attain a state of self sufficiency were you can say you have reasonably attained your goals whatever they may be and it is at this stage that you can now turn your face to God squarely.
It is a thing that Glorifies God when those serving him live in the abundance as it shows that we have a God that owns it all and it debunks the rumor that you can’t love God and be rich. Contrary to what we were taught a while back every true follower of God had self-sufficiency, Wealth and Status, this enabled them serve God with ultimate focus and single-mindedness.
In conclusion I am saying Contentment is not about accepting fate but about working hard and diligently to e able to meet all your own needs first and then the need of others as God helps you.
It’s not something you settle for it is something you attain.
Godliness with contentment is a state where you are not needing help but still live a Godly life because you love God. It is a stage in which you actually choose God because you love him not because of what he can give you. Moreover, having all you need for life helps a lot it removes many problems.
So my brethren as we go this morning pray to God for the grace to be self sufficient on every level of life and to keep on loving God.

Many times I see young men, young spiritual men saying that God will bring the a wife to them but they are not working actively in the will of God. they are not doing the father's business. how do they now expect God to go about searching for a wife for them when they are not doing the father's business.  Dear young man if you want to work according to the order of Adam then you must know that Adam was doing the father's business as was Isaac, you must actively work according to the father's will I don't just mean God Almighty as our father. Studying Rightly

Hello guys, 2Timothy 2:15 "Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Did you know that for years I have read this chapter and only related it to spiritual things?  I took it to mean that by studying God's word and the life of heroes of faith I do prove my love for God, and I was right.  It's just that this passage meant a lot more than just studying Spiritual stuff, the truth is that it applies to every part of our lives, spiritual, intellectual, academic, marital, psychological, and even physical aspects.  Putting it simply if people see that you have more knowledge or wisdom on all subject matters they respect you and admire you for it and they are already respecting and admiring God your maker indirectly.  They will try to find the source of your unique depth of knowledge, wisdom, charisma or whatever it is they find attractive about you at that point you can easily tell them it's all...
